This home is being built by a talented carpenter for his newlywed bride. Fivecat Studio was asked to design a traditional stucco house with four bedrooms, a private study and a large family room. The professionally equipped kitchen and family-style dining room is open to the sunken family room, with an unobstructed view to one of the two stone fireplaces. Sited deep within a mature maple forest, this house is being built with a sensitivity to the natural environment.
