Old Mill River Road Pound Ridge, New York
A 1970's A-frame residence and garage, built in the woods of Pound Ridge, New York, was completely renovated for a young family of four. Built adjacent to a small pond and running stream feeding the Mill River Reservoir, all the new work was reviewed and approved by the Town of Pound Ridge Conservation Board. An environmentally friendly approach was taken in order to minimize disturbance to the sensitive wetland site. The formerly detached garage was converted into a new family room and connected to the main house via a new enclosed bridge addition.
