Sunnyside Avenue
Pleasantville, New York
This Pleasantville dutch colonial, converted
from a carriage house in the 1920's, was
too small and outdated for a growing
modern family.

A new kitchen and family room was added
to the rear of the home. The floor of the
family room was dropped 12" in order to
allow for tall ceilings and separate the
space from the open kitchen. A new side
entrance opens to a mudroom, providing
direct access from the driveway to the
kitchen and food pantry.

The second level of the addition provides
space for a new master bed-bath suite,
complete with a whirlpool tub, spa shower
and walk-in closets.
